Coco festivalSan Pablo City LagunaThe Coconut Festival is a weeklong celebration in honor of the patron saint, Paul the Hermit. The celebration started in 1996, which aim to promote the city and its main produce, the coconut. The highlight of the event, the Mardi gras is usually participated by students and exceptional groups with alluring garbs made from parts of coconut tree while dancing with local indigenous music. |

Sinulog FestivalCebu CityThe Sinulog Festival is Cebu’s biggest and most popular festival. The feast is in honor of the Holy Child, the Sto. Niño de Cebu. Fiesta Señor, as it is widely known, is the celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January where people converge along the route of a grand solemn procession and partake in the gaiety amidst a mardi-gras-type parade immersed in wild colors and the constant beating of drums of the ‘Pit Senyor’. |

Bambanti FestivalProvince of IsabelaFestival celebrating the use of bambanti or scarecrow by the Isabelinos in their vast farmlands to protect its crops is highlighted by an agro-industrial trade fair participated by the 34 towns and three cities of Isabela. A bambanti village is set up to house all the activities during the festival to include agri-ecotourism exhibits, bambanti installations, Isabela Singing Idol and Glee, festival street dance competition with Festival King and Queen, and a grand fireworks display. |
